Horvath, Lawrence, Ph.D., Dr. Horvath earned his Ph.D. in Science Education in 2008 from the University of California, Davis. He has taught middle school science and high school Biology and Chemistry for thirteen years in California and internationally. His research interests include the teaching and learning of science through inquiry and the development of STEM teacher leaders committed to careers in urban schools. Dr. Horvath is currently the lead science faculty member at the San Francisco State University Center for Science and Math Education (CSME).
