Lin Xiang


Xiang, Ph.D., Lin is an Assistant Professor of Life Science Education at Weber State University. Her research focuses on developing technology-enhanced, student-centered learning activities to deepen students’ understandings of the core concepts and processes of life sciences. In particular, Dr. Xiang is interested in creating interactive and collaborative learning experiences, by integrating various computational tools and student-centered instructional strategies, for students to actively explore biological phenomena and the corresponding underlying mechanisms.  Dr. Xiang also works with her colleagues to assess students’ learning outcomes resulting from innovative instructional methods and authentic research experiences.
